Born in 1963 in the small rural town of Zwolen, in communist ridden Poland, Mariola could only dream of what beauty lie on the other side of the world along the sun-kissed coast of California. In 1989, after booking a one-way plane ticket to San Diego, Mariola was finally granted that opportunity.

Since establishing her roots in San Diego, Mariola has acquired a deep and passionate appreciation for the beauty of the natural world, which is reflected strongly in her artwork. She is dedicated to creating beautiful acrylic impressionistic paintings that incorporate abstract elements.
